Actress Kijsa Gifford has been acting on and off since age 4. She felt there was something missing in the industry and decided to create Norma Jean Entertainment to fill that need.

“I saw that a lot of the roles that I was auditioning for lacked depth and didn’t reflect the thoughts and opinions of young adults from my generation adequately. I was often pigeonholed to a specific prototype and wanted to write movies that showed the layers and variability in women and men from all walks of life, with different views. I am feeling really proud of our slate of films right now. I believe that these films are unique and classy, which is what we need right now in order to inspire us to go back to the theaters.”

Norma Jean Entertainment was birthed from the idea that we are all story tellers and deserve a seat at the table. Each previous generation has had a group of movies that have helped to shape their culture, their places in history and defined their generation in films. Norma Jean Entertainment is going to do that for Gen Z with our slate.
